Disability Awareness Day Fun Event
Sunday  6th July 2008
Walton Hall Gardens, Warrington

DAD is an annual independent living exhibition and a family fun day rolled into one.  The main aim of the event is to promote independence throughout life and work. 
A great day at DAD 2005   A fun event:

The 2007 programme featured Warrington Sea Cadets Gun Display team, Batala Samba Band , Oska Bright on the Road Film Festival, Birds of Prey, the Cheshire cadets marching band, WIRE FM's Pete Pinnington and guests, Radio General and much more.

Over 280 exhibition stands were staffed by organisations from the voluntary, statutory and business sectors all working to DAD's key theme:- "Information the key to Independence", with support groups and services, equipment, transport, technology, holidays, benefits, employment, education, training, mobility, leisure, recreation, sport and much more.
